This feast for the Shire of Owl's Nest presented some interesting challanges. It was a small feast, 75, at a small site with minimal cooking facilities. These facilities were part of the main hall so it was like an all day cooking demonstration. But the main challange in this endeavor was the fact that I was a pinch hitter. The originally planned head cook was provided an excellent opportunity out of state, so I had two weeks to plan and execute this feast. As always, the feast would have been impossible without the assistance of many, many hard working friends. These included; Lord Roger luc Besson, THL Lauriettia atte Blacksterre, THL Borgar the Bright, Lord Rhydderch of Caerleon, Lady Peryn Rose Whytehorse, THL Temair Carr, Lord Konrad the Hunter, Lady Eorran inghen Bhronin, and many others.
